Shooting with Mandy
Just a tag along shoot for me with Warren (Overexposed) to a shoot with the lovely Mandy. Roof top location with excellent view of the city at night. It is a private pool so there was no one else there to bother us with the shoot. It started from 10:30pm and didn't end up finishing until about 2:00am.
LIGHTING:
Most of the lighting in the shot was done with two lights: 580EX II at full power on battery pack aiming in to the water to create the glow, another 580EX on 12" beauty dish create the front light with varing power depending on the amount of light we want.
Oh, the water wasn't that cold, which surprise me a bit - it might be heated.

Shooting with The Boys
Just a fun Sunday for us waiting for model to arrive. Thanks goes to Eugene for getting us a ninja costume. Excellent location! We take turns putting on the suite and reenact our childhood dream with jump and swords.
LIGHTING:
Details can be found more on my flickr for most of the photos. They are mostly done with big 120x90cm softbox and 600W portable flash units, various speedlite were used to give highlight and back lighting.

Excellent location with an abandoned DC-3 at Wornervale Aerodrome in the Central Coast. For those who are thinking "...dam, I should go there..." sorry to say that the plane has now been dismantled ready to be moved to QLD for a museum. Pretty sad really, considering that it had been sitting there for 15 years and we were one of the last to have shot it there. The cloud was excellent for the day.
LIGHTING:
I did take my 600W Pack with me and big 27" beauty dish with grid which work a treat with lighting model and plane - too dam heavy to be walking around in long grass and mushy ground with SNAKES :P No we didn't see anyway. But the owner of the Aerodrome said " Yeah, go ahead, shoot, but make sure u make lots of noises..."

Just a fun day out guiding beginners on how to use DSLR. I picked the ZOO because you can take as much photo as you like without anyone questioning what you are doing...hahhaha. Besides, there are lots of thing to learn from when you are at the zoo. Nearly all your skill can be tested here. Macro, portrait, panning, still life, night/Low light, etc
If you would like to do the workshop or if you know anyone who would be interested please link them this form or email me at oat@hangingpixels.com.au
