My name is Oat and I live in Victoria with my amazing wife and son and our crazy little dog. I was born in Thailand and moved to Sydney with my family as a teenager. I first picked up a camera at the age of 16, while I may have picked up my camera skills early in life, I am always learning and honing those skills every day.
I went on to study Architecture at uni where I drew with one hand and took photos with the other. I now run a Thai restaurant with my wife and still haven't stopped taking photos.
You're likely to find me crouching in the ocean with expensive equipment waiting for the tide to recede, hanging off the edge of a cliff to get a better view of something or other, trudging over the most impossible landscape ever to get closer to a broken down shack in the middle of nowhere, or something equally perilous just to get the interesting unique photograph I'm after. I'll climb over anything, and go just about anywhere to get the shot I need, whether it's for you, my client, my friend, or just because I feel like it.
I specialise in ariel photography and video using a DJI Inspire, as well as photography for architecture, real estate, landscape, food and events. I am also proficient in Photoshop and ArchiCAD for floor plans. I also run various photography workshops so please contact me here or via my facebook or instagram page if you are interested in learning more.
If you have photographic requirements that fall outside these categories please let me know as my experience extends much further than the above, I just had to stop talking about myself.
